!! On Explore!! : Ladakh: A`Spiritual Journey...

I’m writing here to share a little more about my spiritual path.  I have previously touched upon the different events  in several recent  blog posts that helped me wake up.  I think the biggest “waking up” event in my life was when I was 19 years old, but I’ll save that for a later time.   For now, I’ll  stick with what has happened for me over the last year.

I became a vegetarian, again, earlier this year. It is something I did as a teenager as well, but that didn’t last too long as I really didn’t understand the “why” of my action.  I happened upona video of the torture that these animals go through a couple months ago, and again I believe there are no accidents, but I could not even finish watching the video it was so horrible.  And I have a cat that I love.  I do understand though, that some people have to eat meat for medical reasons.

This year I also had my first clairvoyant/psychic/medical intuitive reading, which I previously had always felt these types of exercises were not of God.  WRONG!  Well, my gut tells me probably a lot of them are still not of God, nor sincere,  so steering clear in my life was probably a good thing.  I do understand very clearly the dangers of demonic possession, because when  consciousness goes too low you are vulnerable to these entities.  I’m sure they can sneak in too, in other ways,  so I think it’s very wise to be discerning when it comes to paranormal activities.

So just by fluke, well again as I believe everything happens for a reason, but at the last minute I was given a free ticket by a friend to the Holistic Living Expo in San Jose.  When browsing through the different aisles, I stopped by the booth of Dr. ChrisTian von Laur, Msc. D.   I asked his assistant, Mr. Christopher Valentine, what their booth was all about.  Besides being a clairvoyant psychic medium, Dr. Von Laur was also a medical intuitive, and that especially interested me as I have some medical issues.

After completely interrogating Christopher and also making sure no Tarot cards were used in their readings, I negotiated a deal that if after 5 minutes of speaking with Dr. von Laur, that if I didn’t feel ok about it I could leave and get a full refund.

My appointment was later in the afternoon, so I made a few stops by the booth again that day to see if I felt any bad vibes.  Nope, no bad vibes.  Just extremely nervous, as I always tend to be nervous in new situations.

I finally had my reading with Dr. von Laur, and I had a wonderful experience.  He did a great job!  It has helped towards completing me.  To help make me whole again, and gave me closure on some issues in my life in many, many, ways.  It was profound.  Not that I’m looking for psychics now as my spiritual advisors, but it was good to learn that not all mediums are evil, but in fact can give you a good kick in the butt if need be!  And also, that not all esoteric or metaphysical knowledge is harmful either.

And the last thing this year, that I have not really understood in all the “We are Consciousness” talk that so many in the truth movement speak about, is what that really means?  I watched this video on my friend Elizabeth’s Facebook wall yesterday:

They said everything in the universe, and that even matter is consciousness, in the most subtlest and dense form. Still didn’t get that, so I started breaking down some of what each speaker was saying, and this is the one that started to break the code for me:

Quantum physics has revealed what ancient masters knew. Matter does not exist. The concept of substance arose from the philosophy of Everstein.  And from that concept came science’s conception of matter.

The fact of the matter is, that the substance of the universe is consciousness. Belief that the substance of the universe is matter, leads to what I call a fear-greed dichotomy, as people in their quiet desperation attempt to accumulate as many material possessions and riches as possible.  In fact the substance of the universe is consciousness, therefore, it is behavior that is important.”

As I have been sharing unpleasant, but I feel important information on my blog here, I’ve been concerned about how to best to approach all of this.  I think there is a fine balance so that we can be aware of our environment, but not so much that it poisons our spirit.  So not knowing who Everstein was, I googled him and found this site: Physlink.com. There is so much great info on it, but the following paragraph particularly resonated with me:

Two giant sequoias, Sequoia National Park. Not...

“That people in all parts of the world search for a deeper awareness of their own subconscious mind may not be accidental. At this critical juncture of our sociocultural evolution it may be part of the survival dynamics of the human species. A greater awareness that all that goes on in our mind is accessible to others, and that all that goes on in the mind of others is accessible to us, would prompt us to develop greater empathy and solidarity with each other. Such felt relations are vital not only for our personal growth and development; in our interdependent and crisis-prone world, they are vital also for our collective survival and development.”

And this paragraph had special meaning for me too:

“Life appears to be a manifestation of the constant if subtle interaction of the wave-packets classically known as ‘matter’ with the underlying vacuum field. These assumptions change our most fundamental notions of life. The living world is not the harsh domain of classical Darwinism, where each struggles against all, with every species, every organism and every gene competing for advantage against every other. Organisms are not skin-enclosed selfish entities, and competition is never unfettered. Life evolves, as does the universe itself, in a ’sacred dance’ with an underlying field.”

My Facebook friend Renante, helped me formulate a way of saying this too.  This is my  expression and understanding of God as consciousness;

“Matter is something tangible, therefore one could conclude that at some point there may not be enough of it to go around.  With the understanding of consciousness as our Creator, scarcity cannot exist for long.  Energy will flow into any space/void, just like water will go to the lowest place.  Therefore, our Creator, as consciousness and divine energy, also flows.”

And lastly, what Bill Hicks said in the video, I thought was just wonderful:

“The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it you think it’s real, because that’s how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and around and around. It has thrills and chills, and it’s very brightly colored, and it’s very loud. And it’s fun… for a while.

Some people have been on the ride for a long time. And they begin to question, “Is this real or is this just a ride?” And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and they say, “HEY! Don’t worry. Don’t be afraid, EVER, because, THIS IS JUST A RIDE.”

I hope this blog post has been helpful for you.  We create reality, and it is comforting to know there are spiritual advisors out there who are sincere in their efforts to help people along their spiritual path.
