How to read Auras

Well today’s Halloween, and I wanted to write a blog post about something that might have a more calming effect, since Halloween is usually about spooky stuff and has pagan origins.  So I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to write about a subject that still might seem a little scary for some, how to read AURAS.

I’m very cautious about not having anything to do with the occult, and for some I think there might be concern that auras may be associated with that.  I think it’s important to expose evil when possible, but to me auras are not evil, and I’m OK with learning about them.  Christ also had a bright light or halo, and hopefully today I will help to define, and also show you how see auras, and how to read auras colors.

According to author Alyson Noel, an aura is “the colorful electromagnetic field that surrounds all living things.”  Earlier this year I attended the New Living Expo in San Francisco and had my aura read. Well more than that, they actually took a picture of it!

And as you can see, I was GREEN!!! And I liked that!  Everyone who got their aura picture taken at the Expo wore it on their shirt, kind of like a badge.  For me,  I was very proud of my color! I even heard someone comment, “Wow, she’s green!”  Green means peaceful, healing, compassion, deceitful, and jealous.  Hmmm… nothing about boastful in there : )  And I certainly don’t try to be deceitful, so my advice is take what you like and leave the rest!

I’ve been looking at different video’s on Youtube that I could put on this post when ready, and today when looking one last time, I happened upon a sweet little video entitled:

“How To See Aura’s Like Ever Can! (very cool. must watch!).”

Here are the instructions from Alyson Noel on how to read auras.

And thank you for your YouTube video mysteryevermorevoice!

  • Turn the lights low but not off. You want the room dim with just enough light so that you can still see in front of you.
  • If you’re with another person, have them stand before a white background, if not, hold your hands before a white background.
  • Relax. Seriously, relax! Your gaze needs to be soft in order for this to work. So while you want to maintain your gaze, you don’t want to give a hard stare.
  • If you’re with a friend, focus on the area just around them (with a soft gaze). After a few seconds you should be able to see a white glow around them if not color. This is the aura—you did it!
  • If you’re alone, bring your index fingers together until they just barely touch, then gaze softly at the space between them. You can move your fingers back and forth if you want (but don’t touch) until you notice the glow just between them.
  • If you saw a white glowing light—congrats! If you saw color—wow! If you didn’t see anything, don’t worry, keep trying—you’ll get it eventually!

I hope this has been educational for you in learning how to read auras!  Even though Halloween has pagan origins, children dressing up and going out to trick or treat are not aware of that, and I think kids should just be allowed to be kids.

We’re giving out healthy treats this year. The only healthy thing I remember getting when I was a kid were raisins, and that was kind of a dud replacement for a candy bar, but these Clif Kid whole grain energy bars actually taste pretty good!

Have a Happy and Safe Halloween!
